Govt to announce funds received towards combating Cholera

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary in-charge of Administration Dr Kennedy Malama has assured the nation that the ministry will give an account of all the funds and materials received towards combating the outbreak of Cholera.

Dr. Malama says the nation will soon be informed how the donated funds have been applied in controlling the outbreak of the disease.

He says as a ministry, they will make sure that whatever has been donated is used accordingly.

Dr Malama was speaking when the General Nursing Council of Zambia made a donation towards the fight against cholera.

And General Nursing Council of Zambia Spokesperson Thom Yungana says the donation of 230 boots and 230 lab coats worthy K66, 680 is aimed at contributing to fight against cholera and support the nurses that have deployed in cholera centers.
