National for Quality Education Zambia (NAQEZ) Executive Director Aaron Chansa has hailed the Ministry of General Education and the Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ) for releasing Grade12 results on time.
Mr. Chansa has told Q-News that the release of Grade 12 results is commendable and the same should be done next year so as to allow parents and guardians to start preparing for their children’s tertiary education.
Mr. Chansa is also happy that the number of schools that have recorded 100 % pass rate has increased to compare to 2017 school examinations.
He says for this reason teachers need to be recommended for the job well done.
Meanwhile Mr. Chansa is appalled with the increase of school examination malpractice.
Mr. Chansa is advising Government to put in place pragmatic measures that will see the reduction in examination malpractice during the 2018 school examinations.
