Suspected PF cadres attack Kambwili’s supporters at Central Police

Suspected Patriotic Front cadres have attacked National Democratic Congress (NDC) cadres who stormed Lusaka Central Police to offer solidarity to their leader Chishimba Kambwili who is appearing before the anti-fraud unit for questioning.

The NDC Political Consultant arrived at 10:00 hours in the company of NDC Secretary General Mwenya Musenge.

And the QTV News crew that was positioned at the police station spotted one of the cadres carrying a mattress for Mr. Kambwili saying he will use it in an event that he is detained.

Police fired teargas canisters to disperse the NDC cadres and later stood at Levy Mall as they waited for their leader to come out of the police station.

It was at this point that some machete-carrying suspected PF cadres arrived on the scene and attacked their opponents, injuring an innocent security guard only identified as Lubasi from Arm Security Company.

The security guard was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment as he was badly hurt on the forehead.

Meanwhile, police have detained the Roan Member of Parliament by broadcast time his lawyers were organizing a bond.

And some of the NDC supporters talked to by QTV News crew accused PF Lusaka Province Chairman Kennedy Kamba and President Lungu’s Political Advisor Kaizer Zulu of sending the cadres to attack them.
