PF distances itself from NDC attackers

The ruling Patriotic Front has distanced itself from any criminal elements that have the tendency of masquerading as PF cadres in their lawlessness behavior.

This comes after reports that some suspected PF cadres violently attacked their NDC counterparts at Levy Mall in Lusaka when they went to give solidarity to NDC Political Consultant Chishimba Kambwili.

PF Media Director Sunday Chanda has called for thorough investigations of the cadres who attacked the ND supporters.

Mr. Chanda says those caught will have to face the full wrath of the law.

The PF Media Director has also implored politicians to demonstrate good leadership by heeding to repeated calls to avoid provocative language and hate speech which breeds unnecessary tension.

He says there is need for all come of age to embrace mature and issue-based politics.

Mr. Chanda has since made a clarion call for tolerance and co-existence among the different political players.
