Suspected PF cadres attack NDC officials

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary General Mwenya Musenga has disclosed that NDC officials were attacked by suspected PF cadres in Northern Province on Friday.

Mr. Musenga says the party national leaders were on Friday attacked in Northern Province by Pf thugs in Kasama and Nsenga hill areas respectively.

Mr. Musenga says his party has reliable information that these thugs led by the District Commissioner for Kasama, a civil servant received instructions from Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe to attack the team that was mobilizing its structures in the northern region of the country.

He says he is aware that Mr. Sikazwe released ten thousand kwacha to the Kasama DC in order to pay hungry and starved youths to destabilize NDC activities in the region.

The NDC Secretary General says no levels of political thuggery and intimidation will stop the NDC from propagating its message to the people of Zambia.

Mr. Musenga has since called on the Zambia Police to ensure that all the culprits who attacked NDC officials are brought to book.
