Construction of four GBV fast track courts cheers Chola

Advocacy against Child Abuse and Gender Based Violence Executive Director Bellion Chola has commended the United Nations (UN) and government for constructing four more fast truck courts to fight Gender Based violence cases.

Mr. Chola says the four fast track courts will help in the fight against GBV in the country and they will reduce on the number of victims who withdraw from the court.

Mr. Chola adds that because of the few fast truck courts that are there in the country, perpetrators start enticing the victims who make them feel like justice has not prevailed.

He hopes that all the ten provinces of Zambia will have these fast track courts so that victims will not have to move long distances to go to the courts.
