Two Zambians died in King Lion accident

Unconfirmed reports indicate 43 people have died in King Lion accident

Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba has disclosed that two male Zambians were among the 43 people who died in the King Lion bus accident which happened last Wednesday along Harare – Chirundu road.

Mr. Kalaba tells QTV News in a statement that the bus was coming from Zimbabwe heading to Zambia and the accident happened around 22:00 hours.

He says several people were also injured.

Mr. Kalaba says families of the two deceased Zambians have since been informed.

The Foreign Affairs Minister says the government is saddened by deaths and has appealed to the nation to pray for families of the deceased for divine comfort and strength during this difficult time.
