Lusaka City Council (LCC) officers last Night collected seven trading Licenses from night Clubs and bars owners for failure to adhere with the stipulated regulations.

Acting LCC Public Relations Managers Brenda Katongola says in Kabwata Cash and Curry (KCC) night Clubs and bars, the Council managed to collected three licenses for failure to follow the stipulated regulations of operating and trading beyond the stipulated hours and expired Licenses.

Ms Katongola says from KCC Night Club and bars in Kabwata, the Authority managed to collect three Licenses from the people who where operating beyond the stipulated hours.

She says in Kamwala South the Authority managed to get three trading License from the people who where operating beyond stipulated hours and expired trading.

And Ms Katongola has disclosed that during last night’s operation from both night Clubs and bars there were a lot of underage girls and boys drinking beer.

She told Journalist in Lusaka around 01hrs after the operation that the council is planning to go again and inspect same areas.

And some residents from Kamwala South welcomed Lusaka City Council night operation and inspections of night Clubs and bars saying this will bring about Sanity in the City.
