Zambia under-20 champions

The Zambia under-20 national soccer team recovered in style from their 4-1 loss to hosts South Korea at the four nation invitation tournament by beating Honduras by 4 goals to 1.

The African champions who were leading by three goals to one at halftime ensured they finished the tournament on a high with goals from Enock Mwepu who scored a brace, Edward Chilufya who scored his third of the tournament and Emmanuel Banda.

Honduras scored a consolation through a penalty.

The win by Beston Chambeshi’s boys compensated for the 4-1 loss suffered at the hands of South Korea and means the junior Chipolopolo finish the tournament with six points after recording two wins against Ecuador whom they beat by two goals to nil and Honduras.

The under-20 African champions will return home to wait for their return trip to South Korea for the under-20 World cup in May.
