Women’s Lobby advocates for peace

Beauty Katebe – ZNWL Chairperson

The Zambia National Women’s Lobby has called on politicians to maintain peace and order in the country during this electoral process period.

ZNWL Chairperson Beauty Katebe says when there is disorderly in the country women are the first culprits as they cannot do anything such as running or defending themselves.

Ms Katebe says it is important that Zambians at this point remain peaceful despite the outcome of the constitutional court ruling.

She explains that Zambia has been accommodating people from other countries who run away from violent activities and wonders where the people will run to in an even that the people become unruly.
