The opposition UPND has maintained that there is a lot of lawlessness and breakdown of law and order under President Edgar Lungu and the PF Government.

In a statement made available to QFM News today, UPND Secretary General Steven Katuka says the PF leadership has been breaking the law with impunity and they go unpunished, while any small accusations by the UPND members, they are arrested and given the harshest punishments such as aggravated robbery offences which are non-bailable.

Mr. Katuka says as far as the PF leadership is concerned, justice must always be in their favour regardless of the legal provisions.

He says the PF leadership must know that Zambia is bigger than their selfish individual interests of wanting to amass wealth at the expense of the majority of the Zambian people.

Meanwhile, the UPND Secretary General has charged that Zambia has a group of cadres in the name of leaders.

He says Zambia has been handed over to cadres who have no respect for human life and no respect for other competitors in the political game.

Mr. Katuka says Zambians are suppose to core exist after an election but what is being witnessed now is violence before, during and after the elections.
