PAC wants peace

People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) President Andyford Banda says his party is more than ready to play a part in the promotion of peace and unity in the country.

Mr. Banda says this is the reason why he signed the peace accord during the meeting for presidential candidates organized by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) last week.

He says it is important that all leaders in the country come together in stamping out negative vices such as political violence.

Mr. Banda says his party appreciates all the efforts of stakeholders in ensuring that there is total peace in the country as the nation goes to the crucial general elections.
