President Edgar Lungu has called on Christians across the country to join politics and help bring love and unity to the political sphere.

President Lungu said this in Kitwe today when he addressed congregants at Saint Margaret United Church of Zambia in Kitwe, where he attended church service.

And President Lungu has urged University and College students in the country not to be used by people wanting to make political mileage.

ZANIS in Ndola reports that the President made the challenge when he addressed a youth rally at Freedom Park grounds in Kitwe.

President Lungu has advised the students as technocrats to use their knowledge to champion the development of the country.

The President has further advised youths in Zambia that are not in formal employment to take advantage of the informal sector and help grow the economy.
