Zambia’s economy is shaky, do something- Nawakwi tells govt

Opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) president Edith Nawakwi has reiterated the need for government to upscale its efforts in closing up loop holes shaking Zambia’s economy.

Ms. Nawakwi says it is clear that the Zambian economy has been performing badly for the past three years.

She notes that the performance of the economy is also what she thinks has  led to the high cost of living among the majority Zambians.

Ms. Nawakwi stresses that government therefore has the responsibility to ensure that there is smooth running of the key sectors that contribute to having a stable economy.

She has charged that government must keep in mind that Zambians need to have food on their tables as it resolves the challenges in the economy
