President Edgar Lungu at Entebbe airport at the End of his State Visit to Uganda
President Edgar Lungu this afternoon made a stopover in Mbala on his way to Mwansabombwe from Uganda.
President Lungu who touched down at Samora Machel Airbase at 12: 00 hours was received by Northern Province Minister, Freedom Sikazwe and other senior government and Patriotic Front Officials.
ZANIS in Mbala reports that the President is today expected to officiate at this year’s Umutomboko Traditional ceremony of the Lunda speaking people of Senior Chief Mwata Kazembe in Luapula Province.
President Lungu who is accompanied by former local Government and housing Minister, Emmanuel Chenda was in Uganda for a two day state visit at the invitation by his counterpart of that country, Yoweri Museveni.
