Lungu is right, opposition is bitter – Mulongoti

People’s Party President Mike Mulongoti says President Edgar Lungu was right when he said the opposition in the country is bitter.

Mr. Mulongoti however says not only the opposition is bitter, but the people of Zambia including those who voted for the Patriotic Front.

He says they are bitter and frustrated because of the kind of leadership the Patriotic Front government under President Lungu has subjected them to.

Mr. Mulongoti notes that the people of Zambia expected that things would get better, but that unfortunately things have gone from bad to worse under President Lungu’s leadership.

He states that the high cost of living in the country and the perpetration of violence by PF cadres are some of the things which have made the opposition and the people of Zambia to be bitter.

Mr. Mulongoti says President Lungu should understand that the opposition is not happy to see the people of Zambia suffering which is why they are bitter and what to rescue the people of Zambia from this type of leadership.

He has further called on President Lungu to deliver on the promises he made to the Zambian people during the presidential campaigns.
