Listen to the cries of Zambians – Govt prod

Government has been prodded to listen to the cries of the Zambian people on issues affecting them.

Green party president Peter Sinkamba says it is the people who put the Patriotic Front in government, therefore it is important that issues affecting them are urgently addressed.

Mr. Sinkamba says the people have the power to remove a party from government if not satisfied with the leadership being provided.

He states that government should therefore have the interest of the people of Zambia at heart before their own interests in order for the country to move forward.

Mr. Sinkamba says with only a few months remaining of the PF government’s 5 year mandate, they can use the remaining time to correct their mistakes and do what they can to satisfy the people of Zambia who voted for them.

He says it would be sad for the PF to leave office without honoring most of the promises it made to the people of Zambia.
