GBM, Malama in near punch-up

Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba and his Mfuwe counterpart Mwiimba Malama had a near punch-up at Parliament buildings this morning.

It is not clear what sparked the altercation which happened during tea break.

It had to take the intervention of fellow members of Parliament stop the two from engaging in a physical confrontation.

And Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini has since reserved ruling on a point of order raised by Mazabuka Central Member of Parliament Garry Nkombo who asked whether it was in order for Mr Malama to have attempted to attack Mr Mwamba.
