Malawi’s Mutharika to grace 89th Agriculture show

 

Malawian President Professor Peter Mutharika is expected to grace the 89th Zambia Agriculture and Commercial Show in Lusaka which will run from 29th July to 3rd August 2015.

And more than 20 countries have confirmed their participation in this year’s Show.

Addressing a media briefing this morning, Agriculture and Commercial Show of Zambia (ACSZ) President Anderson Murray says the high number of participants indicates the important role the show has played in the development of the country.

Mr. Murray adds that they expect an increased turnout of local exhibitors, going by the number of confirmations received so far, including nonprofit making organizations, government departments, small scale businesses and aid agencies.

And Mr Murray has disclosed that entry charges for the show have been maintained as last year’s with K20 for persons over five years per day.

He says adult membership for five days is K90 and K45 for junior show members aged between 6 and 17 years old.

And Mr. Murray says entertainment will be provided by DRC musician Guy Guy Falle and Mbuta Likasu who will be assisted by Zambian musicians.

The 89th Agriculture and Commercial Show will be held under the theme” Innovation beyond the golden Jubilee”.
