Govt making process towards paying former RSZ workers – Siamunene

Government says it has made progress in sourcing for funds to pay former Railway Systems of Zambia (RSZ) workers their dues.

Transport, Works, Supply and Communications Deputy Minister Richwell Siamunene has told QFM News via telephone that his Ministry is only waiting for the Ministry of Finance to release the funds.

Mr. Siamunene has since assured the ex-RSZ workers that once government through the Ministry of Finance mobilized the funds, they will be paid their dues.

He has since appealed to the ex-workers to calm as government is doing everything possible to settle their dues.
