Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia President Suzyo Zimba
The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia has expressed concern over the behavior by some political cadres in the country.
Council president Suzyo Zimba says it is sad that cadres think they are special than the people of Zambia but that the cadres should know and understand that the world does not revolve around them or belong to them.
He emphasizes that the country cannot have cadres who are always harassing and intimidating people citing that the cadres must respect themselves as well as respect the people of Zambia who are the voters.
Mr. Zimba notes that most of these cadres do not even have voter’s cards but want to behave as though they are the majority voters.
He says cadres should be civilized and always maintain law and order stressing that the fact that they are cadres does not give them power to behave anyhow.
Mr. Zimba has urged political leaders to discipline their cadres stating that these cadres are just tarnishing the names of their leaders.
