Ex-Golden Arrows and Zambia defender Joseph Musonda is back in Zambia and training with his former club Nkana.

Musonda landed back home on Sunday and joined Nkana during Monday afternoon training in Kitwe.

He returns home after spending a season at South Africa PSL club Polokwane City.

Nkana coach Aggrey Chiyangi said that they will make a decision whether to sign Musonda by the end of the week.

“Joseph is training with us, we are going to make a decision in the next three days after we sit down with him to discuss certain things then we can make a decision,” Chiyangi said.

“We know Joseph, we have been watching him and I don’t think we will have a problem with him and the goodness is that Joseph is a very disciplined player.

“He is going to add value to the team if we decide to get him but I know most of the things will be discussed when we sit down with him.”

Musonda played for Nkana from 2000 to 2004 after joining them from Kalulushi Modern Stars and won the 2001 league title with the Kitwe giants.

He left Nkana in 2004 following the record 12-time champion’s demotion to join Zesco United before moving to Golden Arrows in South Africa.
