Katele speaks against Zambia turning a failed State

Sub- Chief Natende of Chiengi District Katele Kalumba says it is an unthinkable preposition for any of the 10 provinces of Zambia to secede at this point in the country’s History.

Sub-Chief Natende says the unity that Zambia has consolidated since independence under great temptations cannot allow it to turn into a failed State by one of provinces seceding.

He has told Qfm News that the people of Zambia must therefore not allow themselves to have their country turn into an example of a failed state because of irresponsible language.

The traditional leader has particularly called on political leaders in the country to exercise responsible leadership.

He has counseled political leaders to be accountable in their public utterances and remember that regardless of which region they come from they are part of one nation.

The sub-chief is of the view that differences of opinion must not lead people in the country to think of solutions that hinge upon fracturing the foundation of Zambia’s nationhood.

He believes that Zambia is too mature a nation to be forced into this kind of thinking.

Sub- Chief Natende has since called for reasonableness and patience in the Zambian politics.
