Govt working at ending rural child marriages – Katema

Chiefs and traditional affairs minister Joseph Katema has reaffirmed government’s commitment to address the increasing numbers of child marriages especially in rural areas.

Dr. Katema says government is working closely with traditional leaders across the country with the view of relaying the message to their subjects about the matter.

He says government is therefore determined to ensuring that the future generation is protected from all negative vice bent at destroying their future.
