Political Analyst Alex Ng’oma says secession is not an option to the tribal differences that people are facing in the country.
Dr. Ng’oma says whenever problems are being addressed in the country; session is not among the options as it unconstitutional.
Dr. Ng’oma notes that it is important for people to learn to address their grievances according to the laid down procedures and channels rather than resorting to very unconstitutional and unconventional means.
He adds that no single province in the country has the right to claim session because it is not possible as it is not provided for.
Dr. Ng’oma adds that the people of Zambia should be united and work together in developing the nation regardless of which part of the country they are coming from citing that at the end of the day, it is one Zambia and one nation.
He further states that much as the people would differ in opinions, they should not resort to solutions which might not be good for the country stressing that they should not only look at their interest but the interest of the nation as a whole.
