NAREP guides govt on spending

Opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has advised the Patriotic Front government to change the way it is spending tax payers’ money.

NAREP Secretary General Mabvuto Mwanza says it is sad that the people of Zambia are suffering while their money is being used by those in authority for their own personal benefits.

Mr. Mwanza says Zambians have lost confidence in the ruling PF because of its failure to address the challenges they are facing.

He says President Lungu should spend more time at home and reduce on costly international trips some of which he can delegate to his ministers.

Mr. Mwanza notes that the money spent on these trips can help address the many challenges the nation is facing.

He says the PF should be mindful of the challenges the people of Zambia are facing and begin addressing them.
