Luo urges guardians to be vigilant at protecting the girl child

Gender and Child Development Minister Nkandu Luo has urged parents and guardians to be more vigilant in paying attention to the wellbeing of the girl child.

Professor Luo notes that it is unfortunate that child defilement and abuse have become rampant in communities because the gild child is not being given the much needed attention.

She says parents and guardians should realize that they have a huge responsibility to ensure that the children are safe from all forms of abuse.
