The Evangelical Youth Alliance International has urged FDD Leader Edith Nawakwi and Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali not to implicate former Republican President Rupiah Banda in the probing of suspended Director of Public Prosecutions Mutembo Nchito.

In a statement made available to QFM News today, Alliance Executive Director Moses Lungu says it is unfair that the former Head of State is being mentioned in the probing of Mr. Nchito.

Reverend Lungu states that it is also wrong for Mr. Tayali to question the integrity of Judges Silungwe and Ngulube who are members of the Tribunal appointed by President Lungu to probe Mr. Nchito saying they are composed and experienced Judges.

He says if Mr. Tayali wants to be respected by the people, he should sensor his statements and not just to attack any person just to put food on the table.

He adds that if Mr. Nchito is innocent of any wrong doings, indeed he will be free and there is no need for anybody to start panicking.

Reverend Lungu has since advised the Zambian Voice Executive Director and the FDD Leader not to implicate innocent people in the probing of Mr. Nchito saying it is not fair.

And Reverend Lungu says the decision to hold tribunal proceedings in camera should be supported by all well meaning Zambians.
