Transport, Works, Supply and Communications Minister Yamfwa Mukanga has assured the nation that all infrastructure development projects initiated during President Michael Sata‘s time will be completed to their logical conclusion.
Under the three years that Mr. Sata has been President the country has seen the rolling out of the three major road projects which are the Link Zambia 8000, Pave Zambia 2000 and the L400 road projects.
In an interview with Qfm News Mr. Mukanga has stated that the Patriotic Front government will have to do what it must to ensure these and other infrastructure development projects such as Universities and National stadiums are constructed.
Mr. Mukanga says his government will continue with the implementation of these projects because this is what the late Head of State’s legacy is about.
He notes that executing these projects therefore is one way of honoring President Sata.
Mr. Mukanga says the only pity for his government is that it has lost its leader at a time that its vision to develop the country is still big.
He however notes that the comforting part is that the late President’s ideas for improving the lives of the people in the country lies with the ruling Patriotic Front.
