Zambia Police Road Traffic Division Superintendent Yorum Phiri
Zambia Police Head of Traffic Yoram Phiri has advised motorists across the country to observe traffic rules during the festive season.
Mr. Phiri says motorists should avoid getting too excited on the road.
He says the Zambia Police Traffic Department has partnered with the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) to ensure those found wanting are taken to the fast track court.
Mr. Phiri tells Q-News that motorists should therefore ensure compliance with road traffic rules so that there is sanity on the roads.
And Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) Head of Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga has reminded motorists of the need to adhere to all traffic rules and regulations.
He says motorists should also ensure their vehicles have all the requirements to be on the road.
