A Namibian National has been burnt to ashes while the other one has sustained injuries after two Volvo Trucks of unknown Registration numbers collided head-on before catching fire along the Mazabuka-Lusaka road at Nega Nega turn-off.
The accident happened this morning around 07:00 hours.
Police assistant public relations spokesperson Levy Lilanga explains that the first truck was being driven by Moses,other names and age not known who was towing trailer No.N693S, while the second Volvo Truck, trailer No.1832W was being driven by Willie Swart aged 22.
Mr. Lilanga says the accident happened when the first driver failed to keep to his near side and went to hit the other truck before both truck burst into flames.
He says the first driver has since runaway and a manhunt has been launched, while the remains of the second driver have been deposited in Mazabuka District Hospital Mortuary.
