Launch of call center at Ministry of Labour cheers FFTUZ women

The Federation of Free Trade Unions of Zambia (FFTUZ) has praised government for launching the call center at the Ministry of Labour saying it will bridge the information gap amongst Zambian workers.

FFTUZ National Women Chairperson Charity Kampamba says workers lack certain information related to labour and that the creation of the call center will no doubt enlighten most workers.

Ms Kampamba has however, cautioned the ministry to ensure they deal with the challenge of congestion saying they may fail to achieve the required results when workers fail to go through their short code.

She has since encouraged government to decentralize this initiative so that people will have easy access to labour information.
