President Edgar Lungu
President Edgar Lungu has today officially launched the keep Zambia clean national wide campaign in Chongwe District.
The campaign will be conducted on each last Saturday of the month from now on.
And President Lungu says he is impressed with people’s commitment to the desire to keep their environments clean.
Meanwhile President Lungu has promised the people of Chongwe District a new market after the demolition of the old one.
He has however called for cooperation between marketers, local authority and the district authority to avoid wrangles which have existed in the recent past.
President Lungu says this is in line with government’s commitment to take development in the district.
