Miles Sampa unveils his ‘100 days vision’ for Lusaka

Patriotic Front Lusaka Mayoral Candidate, Miles Sampa has promised to transform Lusaka District within 100 days if elected Mayor.

Speaking during the PF Interactive Forum in Lusaka where he unveiled his vision, Mr. Sampa said he will ensure that the Lusaka City Council (LCC) sets up a call center as a way of enhancing communication between the council and the residents of Lusaka.

Mr. Sampa says he will within 100 days of being elected Mayor ensure that all public places such as airports and bus stations have WiFi facilities to enhance communication for the residents of Lusaka.

On street vending, Mr. Sampa says he will consider coming up with a Saturday Market where one major road in the central business district will be closed to allow the traders sale their merchandise in one place.

He says the council will also ensure that street vendors are moved to designated places.

Mr. Sampa adds that all houses in Lusaka will have title deeds and those without proper documentation are entered in the system.

Speaking at the same event, PF Media Director, Sunday Chanda said the party is pleased that all the 30 candidates who were not adopted are rallying behind Mr. Sampa says this shows how democratic the party is.
