Some of the PF candidates who had applied to be adopted to contest the forthcoming Lusaka Mayoral by-election have endorsed the PF Central Committee’s decision to settle for former Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa.

Former Lusaka Mayor Mulenga Sata, who is also late President Michael Sata’s son, says he still remains proud of his decision to participate in the Party’s intra-party democracy.

Mr. Sata says he fully supports Central Committee’s adoption of Mr. Bwalya Sampa as PF’s Mayoral Candidate for the Greater City of Lusaka and that he is available for any role in the upcoming campaigns.

Mr. Sata has since pledged his unflinching support and loyalty to the leadership of President Edgar Lungu, the Party’s Central Committee and the Party at large.

Meanwhile, PF Youth Francis Muchemwa has also pledged his support and that of his followers to the party as a means of keeping the peace and tranquility.

Mr. Muchemwa says at a time like this, the party cannot risk partisan bickering and political posturing.

And PF Media Committee Member Brian Hapunda has congratulated the former Commerce, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister for the Adoption and he has pledged his unconditional support to him and the entire Party.

Mr. Hapunda states that the job to return the Mayoral seat begins now, and that party members are but Loyal Soldiers of the ruling PF.

He has observed the need to work together to win this Election for the Party.

Meanwhile, former Lusaka mayor Daniel Chisenga says he respects the decision made by the patriotic front- members of central committee to adopt Mr. Sampa as PF mayoral candidate

Mr. Chisenga says the decision made by the Patriotic Front Members of the Central Committee is welcome and highly supported.
