NAREP not dissolving to join UPND

The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has refuted media reports suggesting that the party will be dissolved to join the opposition UPND.

NAREP Spokesperson Bwalya Nondo tells QTV News that such reports should not be taken seriously as they are aimed at undermining the opposition.

Mr. Nondo says just because NAREP Leader Elias Chipimo Junior held private talks with his UPND counterpart does not mean he wants to disband his party and join forces with the UPND.

He says he is aware that such reports are orchestrated by the ruling PF with the view to silence the voice of the opposition.
