The Poultry Association of Zambia (PAZ) says the stability in Kwacha against major convertible currencies and the removal of the five percent duty on poultry premixes has stabilized stock feed prices in the country.

PAZ Executive Manager, Dominic Chanda has however, hinted that despite this, there could be slight upwards adjustments in stock feed prices.

Mr. Chanda says the price could increase from the current K175 to between K180 and K185 per 50 Kg bag of starter, grower and finisher broiler feed

He states that this will also be dependent on the stability in the maize and Soya beans prices.
