409 confirm participation in Zambia International Trade Fair

A total of 409 exhibitors have confirmed participation in this year’s Zambia International Trade Fair as of 14^th June.

Commerce, trade and industry Minister, Christopher Yaluma says of the 409 exhibitors, 47 are foreign exhibitors while the rest are local participants.

Mr. Yaluma has told a media briefing held in Lusaka that of the 47 foreign exhibitors are from the US, China, Botswana, Congo DR and Zimbabwe.

He says other Countries are Egypt, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Malawi, South Africa, Pakistan and India.

Mr. Yaluma says President Edgar Lungu and his Botswana counterpart Mokgweetsi Masisi will grace the 54^th Zambia International Trade Fair.

He adds that the trade fair will be officially opened next week on the 28^th of June.
