Kambwili’s proceeds of crime case adjourned

The case in which Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili is charged with 39 counts of being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime has been adjourned as the chief executive officer of Mwamona Company whom he is jointly charged with was not before the court to take plea.

When the matter came up before magistrate Mwaka Mikalile, the state wondered why Mr.  Kambwili’s co-accused was not before the court when they were all served with the sermons.

Magistrate Mikalile has since adjourned the matter to Monday, 18th June, 2018 , to  give Mwamona’s CEO a benefit of doubt.
