The Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia (PSZ) is disturbed with reports of drug stock outs at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
PSZ President Dr. David Banda tells QTV News that this is a drawback in service delivery.
Dr. Banda, however, says it is wrong to accuse Pharmacists at the hospital of taking the drugs to their private pharmacies.
He adds that it is also wrong to accuse pharmacists of referring patients to their private pharmacies.
Dr. Banda says it is important that those with information report such cases to relevant authorities so that if there are pharmacists in the country doing such things they can dealt with accordingly.
