Zambia’s democratic system at risk – Milupi

Opposition Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) president Charles Milupi has warned that Zambia’s democratic and accountable governance system is at risk of being lost.

Mr. Milupi says politicians especially those in government today, seem not to be worried of losing elections because they think they can buy their way into government.

He states that when this happens; Zambia loses its governance system completely.

Mr. Milupi says losing the governance system means that those wielding the instruments of power no longer do the will of the people.

He claims this is what is exactly happening in Zambia.

Mr. Milupi is therefore of the view that any national dialogue that should take place should therefore be for the purposes of resetting the Country’s governance system.
