Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba says Zambia is keen to learn from the Czech Republic’s achievements in areas of energy, agriculture and manufacturing.

Mr Kalaba said this when Czech Republic Ambassador Designate to Zambia, Radek Rubes paid a curtsey call on him at his office this morning.

He noted that the Czech Republic has done well in improving sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing and energy.

He says the PF Government has developed an agenda of diversifying the country’s economy by prioritizing the agriculture sector instead of depending solely on copper production.

And Mr Kalaba says the Zambian Government is grateful that the Czech Republic has opened a mission in Zambia.

He says this will help consolidate the mutual relationship that exists between Zambia and the Czech Republic.

And Czech Republic Ambassador Designate to Zambia, Radek Rubes says his government wants to share experiences with Zambia more especially in the agriculture sector.

Mr. Rubes says Czech Republic Minister of Agriculture will be part of the forthcoming Agric-tech expo in Chisamba along with some agriculture companies from that country so as to share their best practices in the agriculture sector.
