Malambo tells politicians to speak positive about economy

Governance Activist Maurice Malambo says there is need for Zambians to speak positively about the country’s economic future outlook.

Mr. Malambo says some statements coming from some politician have a negative effect on the country’s potential investment.

Mr. Malambo has told QFM News in a walk interview that it is unfortunate that some politicians have gone to some extent of even ridiculing Zambia’s economy.

He says the international community is keenly following the statements made on Zambia’s economy and they can decide whether to invest in the country or not depending on what is said.

He says what some politicians are missing is that when things turn sour because of their statements all people will suffer including those who support them.

Mr. Malambo has since reminded politicians that the nation has the economy to defend and grow and thus the need for them to stop politicking the country’s economy.
