Kakuwa worried with continued standoff between PF, opposition

Every Home for Christ Regional Director Richard Kakuwa is concerned with the continued standoff between the opposition political parties and the ruling party.

Dr. Kakuwa says it is worrying that political parties have continued to attack each other when the people of Zambia expect them to work together in addressing the challenges that the country is currently facing.

He says the situation right now calls for urgent interventions from the church and other stakeholders citing that it will be worrying for the nation to enter 2016 in the political situation it is now.

Dr. Kakuwa says the church should engage political parties and ensure that they dialogue and that peace is maintained even as the country heads towards 2016 adding that it is the responsibility of the church to help maintain peace and order.

He adds that the church and the people of Zambia should also continue to pray for the political leadership in the country so that things can go well for the country.

Dr. Kakuwa further states that it is important that political leaders also engage their political parties and ensure that law and order is maintained in the country.
