The Evangelical Youth Alliance International (EYAI) has praised government for embarking on three ambitious projects aimed at creating over 10, 000 jobs for local people on the Copperbelt Province.

EYAI Executive Director Moses Lungu says the projects are welcome as they will help in creating employment for local people considering that some people have lost jobs on the province.

Reverend Lungu says Copperbelt Province has done well in terms of meeting Millennium Development Goal number one of alleviating extreme poverty in the country and that the job losses have a bearing on this achievement.

He says it is imperative that all well meaning Zambians support President Lungu over this matter in his quest to provide employment to the people more especially on the Copperbelt following the massive job loses in the mining sector.

And Reverend Lungu has encouraged political players not to promote chaos in the political sphere but rather be promoters of peace and unity.
