High cost of doing business worries Sinkamba

Green Party President Peter Sinkamba

Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has observed that the high cost of doing business in Zambia continues to make the country unattractive to foreign investors.

Mr. Sinkamba has since called on the government to remove all barriers that make the cost of doing business in Zambia high.

He has cited difficulties in land acquisition, unavailability of power and high interest rates as some of the issues obstructing foreign investors from coming into the country.

Mr. Sinkamba states that high interest rates are the major reason why businesses are not recording growth.

He adds that the instability of the Kwacha is also not good for business.
