Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila says investigations into the attack on Vice President Inonge Wina’s house in Nalolo have intensified.
In a Ministerial statement to Parliament this afternoon, Mr. Mwila says so far only one male aged 25 years of Senanga has been apprehended to help with investigations.
He says an identification parade was conducted in the assault case relating to the same attack and that the victim positively identified the male who is now currently in Police custody.
Mr. Mwila has also disclosed that the UPND cadres that attacked the Vice president’s private house in Nalolo also broke into a shop at a market and went away with K5, 000.
He says this is besides stealing from the same shop beers and Maheu drink valued at K1, 500, 000.
