PF Youths condemn Kitwe violence

Patriotic Front (PF) youths in Lusaka province have condemned the violence that took place in Kitwe where UPND and PF cadres clashed last week.

The PF youths in Lusaka have also condemned the attack on Vice President Inonge Wina’s private home in Nalolo by UPND cadres.

PF Lusaka Province Youth Information and Publicity Secretary Stanley Chiumya says the two violent incidents are merely taking the country back to the vigilante era when citizens were brutalized by party cadres.

Mr. Chiumya says there is need for political cadres to stop fighting each other.

He says resorting to violence as a way of settling political disputes is a primitive way of resolving differences.

Mr. Chiumya has advised youths from across political parties to respect individual political views.
