Visiting Germany Minister of Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier has expressed confidence that Zambia can overcome its current economic challenges.

Dr. Steinmeier says Germany sees Zambia’s vast potential beyond the current economic challenges.
He says this is why on his visit in the Country he has been accompanied by high level delegation from the Germany Parliament, business and academia.
Dr. Dr. Steinmeier notes the opening of a representation of the Germany Southern Africa Chamber of Commerce in Lusaka is another proof of his Country’s confidence in Zambia’s potential.
He was speaking last night in Lusaka at a cocktail hosted in his honor.
Speaking at the same cocktail Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba expressed gratitude to the Germany government for the support it has continued rendering to Zambia.
Mr. Kalaba says Zambia is also interested in establishing more economic and trade links with Germany through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
He has since expressed his confidence that Dr. Steinmeier’s visit to Zambia will result in representatives of Zambian business sector forging closer partnerships with their Germany counterparts.
