PROTUZ links last for money by teachers to exam leakages

The Professional Teachers Union of Zambia (PROTUZ) has attributed the continued engagement of teachers in leakage related activities to lust for money by some teachers.

PROTUZ General Secretary Albert Muyembe has told QFM News that the union is deeply saddened that despite many attempts to stop teachers from engaging in such illegal activities they have continued to do so.

Mr. Muyembe says teachers are there to build a better nation and not to create a nation that will be bad of future leaders.

He says this lust for money should come to an end and that the teachers should at all times desist from engaging such activities.
He says the union will not protect anyone found wanting.

Meanwhile, Mr. Muyembe has encouraged teachers without voters’ cards to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise and obtain the cards.
